Catholic Stewardship Consultants is thrilled to announce that our next Msgr. Thomas McGread Stewardship Conference will be a one-day event, January 30, 2020, at the Bethany Center in Lutz, Fla. — just minutes away from Tampa International Airport and Clearwater Beach.
Registration for this event is now open. There are a limited number of spaces available, and we are extending an invitation to followers of The Catholic Steward blog to attend.
Now in its 16th year, the McGread Conference has inspired and educated thousands of priests, religious, and lay Catholics, by sharing the remarkable stories of how developing the spirituality of stewardship has transformed parishes and impacted the lives of individual parishioners across the country.
The late Msgr. Thomas McGread, who passed away in April 2013, is often called the “Father of Stewardship.” He was instrumental in the drafting of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops’ pastoral letter, Stewardship: A Disciple’s Response.
At this conference, you can hear the remarkable story of how stewardship forever changed Msgr. McGread’s parish — St. Francis of Assisi in Wichita — and how Monsignor’s vision has impacted other parishes across the country. The conference also will feature presentations by pastors and lay leaders who will share stories of how stewardship has become a way of life in their parishes.
