All Saints Catholic School (ASCS) is the biggest ministry here in our parish. The students at ASCS are the future of the Church — thus, it’s important that the whole parish comes together to invest in our students’ future, because it is also an investment in the future of the Catholic Church.
This year, the All Saints Catholic School 25th Anniversary Auction will bring friends and families together on Feb. 24 to celebrate our school community. Liz Roth, who is planning this year’s event, shares why the ASCS Auction is so important.
“The event brings together friends and family to celebrate and raise money to help fund the programs that allow us to provide an excellent educational experience for our students,” Liz says.
This year’s auction will also be a celebration of the school’s 25th anniversary. The event includes dancing, a steak dinner, a fun live and silent auction, games. During the event, we will also honor Patty Moothart, one of the school’s long-term teachers and a wonderful representation of all those who make ASCS great.
The theme for this year’s auction is DALLAS and will take place where the classic TV show was filmed, Southfork Ranch. In the past, the auction has raised around $120,000 that goes towards the school’s mission of providing an excellent education for its students.
There are various ways you can get involved with the ASCS Auction to help support the school and the All Saints Community. One way is to simply attend the auction. Another way is to donate items for the auction — donations can be dropped off at the school or you can contact Liz. Finally, volunteers are needed to help with setup on the day of the auction. Volunteers are also needed to help with check-in and check-out on the night of the event.
